It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Ryo Nakagawara on for his J-Talk debut, to chat about the two games he attended in the Kansai region over the weekend, as well as FC Tokyo's win away at Hiroshima.
First up is the huge clash at the Noevir Stadium on Saturday night, which saw Yokohama F.Marinos come out on top against leaders Kobe (to 32:20), then Gamba Osaka's draw with Yokohama FC on Sunday (to 51:10), before we finish up with Ryo on the Tokyo win, and how the capital club are traveling under Albert Puig (to 1:09:25).

Goals galore, and some absolute humdingers amongst them, Saturday's top flight matchday had the lot, and Ralf Seidl guests in Part 1 to chat about Urawa's big win at home over Sapporo, Maciej Skorza hitting the ground running in the Saitama Stadium dugout (that he was finally able to sit in on Saturday), and the upcoming ACL Final vs Al Hilal (to 27:00).
Then we cover Kobe's crushing of Kashima, and Nagoya and Hiroshima keeping pace with the leaders with away wins of their own (to 48:10), before we sweep through the rest of the round, and look ahead to the weekend's Matchday 9.

There's also a quick preview of the upcoming Round 10 fixtures (all on Sunday this week, including possibly the biggest fixture of the season so far), and a mention for Iwata and Shimizu's Levain Cup commitments next midweek.

We begin with first wins of the season for Gamba Osaka and Kashiwa, with warning signs flashing for their conquered opposition, Kawasaki and Kashima, respectively, before we move on to Yokohama F.Marinos' big win in the Yokohama derby, and FC Tokyo's draw with Shonan, while in amongst it all we get Dan's thoughts on a number of bigger picture J.League and Samurai Blue topics (to 54:10).
In Part 2 we cover the goalless draws at Kobe and Nagoya, then move on to wins for Fukuoka and Hiroshima, who sit joint-3rd in the table, and finish with a positive result for Jekyll and Hyde Sapporo.

JTET is back with another packed review of J2 and J3 action, including a 'live' (face-to-face) guest chat for the very first time!
In Part 1 (Start to 08:15), Jon Steele looks back on the 5 games played in J2 last Saturday in Round 7, while James Taylor does the same for the Sunday fixtures in Part 2 (08:20 to 14:40).
After that, Jon Steele had the unmissable chance to take Kanazawa superfan Victor Arroyo to karaoke, where he picked his brains on a range of J2 topics for Part 3. The boys started with a Kanazawa special (14:45 to 27:30), then discussed the recent sackings of Shimizu boss Ze Ricardo and Yamagata's Australian manager Peter Cklamovski (27:30 to 36:30).
Jon and Victor then took a look ahead to a very exciting slate of J2 fixtures coming up this weekend in Round 8 (36:30 to 42:30).
To wrap things up, Mike 'The Magic' Innes is on hand to take you through all of the big stories from Round 3 in J3, and to look ahead to Round 6, in 'J-Talk: Short Corner' (42:30 to Finish).

J1 returned after the international break with a brilliant round of matches stacked with talking points.
Our first guest is Chris from J.League Journeys after he and his cohort Lolo headed up to Kashima to see Hiroshima stun Antlers in the last five minutes, and then hung with the Sanfrecce players in the convenience store for a while afterwards (to 20:25).
Next we round up comfortable victories for Kobe, Nagoya and Urawa (to 36:35), before Yokohama FC correspondent Manny Padovan guests after the Sky Blues drew at home with Fukuoka (to 54:25).
In Part 4 we run through the final four games, including that instant classic up at the Sapporo Dome, and Shuto Machino single-handedly putting Gamba Osaka and former teammate Kosei Tani to the sword.

Later than usual this week (due to school holidays - apologies!), the JTET team bring you up to date with another packed week of J2 and J3 action.
In Part 1 (Start to 08:20), James Taylor looks back at all of the J2 action from last Saturday, when six of the Round 6 matches took place. He also casts his discerning gaze over Iwata's game against Sapporo in the Levain Cup.
Then in Part 2 (08:20 to 22:00), Jon Steele covers the rest of the J2 games from Round 6 - three matches from Sunday (plus Urawa v Shimizu in the Levain Cup), and the two Wednesday night games (including a shock home defeat for Shimizu against an impressive Gunma). Jon also takes a brief look at the J2 games on the weekend slate for Round 7.
As usual, Mike 'The Magic' Innes brings us home with 'J-Talk: Short Corner' (22:00 to Finish), reviewing all of the J3 talking points from a very busy Round 4, as well as previewing Round 5.
