With roughly a quarter of the J1 season behind this, the past weekend's break in top flight action was the perfect opportunity for us to connect with Alex Bishop once again to chat about the J.League Fantasy game.
We check in on our teams, discuss what we've liked about the new game and areas we think it could be improved on, and dispense some transfer tips and gameplay advice (to 44:22).
At the end of the episode we round up the latest ACL results and try to make sense of the permutations as all four Japanese clubs chase a spot in the knockout stage.

Episode 412 - J1 Matchday 9
Tuesday Apr 19, 2022
Tuesday Apr 19, 2022
With only seven goals across the seven top flight games on Saturday and Sunday, and not a single VAR controversy to help us along, this week's episode is much shorter than usual, but we try to make the most of it, heaping praise on Kyoto's terrific performance away at Kashiwa in the late game on Sunday, and Shonan for their first win of the season away at Gamba Osaka earlier in the day.
Elsewhere we review the 'goalfest' - relatively speaking - at the Yamaha Stadium, and chat about Takashi Inui being placed on the naughty step by Cerezo Osaka.
