Episode 388 - Samurai Blue Stay Alive
Thursday Oct 14, 2021
Thursday Oct 14, 2021
Samurai Blue supporters sat through another couple of difficult watches in this international break, but the 2-1 win over Australia on Tuesday night appears to have kept the wolves from Hajime Moriyasu's door, and kept Japan in the hunt for a spot at the 2022 World Cup.
Scott McIntyre guests for a (very brief, thankfully) look back at the loss in Saudi Arabia last week, and then a more thorough review of the clash against the Socceroos, before a chat about some of the wider issues surrounding the national team, and Moriyasu's future (to 37:40).
Then in Part 2 we round up the Levain Cup semi finals (to 49:20), and chat about the J1 title race, before a brief look ahead to the weekend's top flight fixtures.

JTET - J2 Round 32 / J3 Round 21 Review
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Once again, the JTET team assemble to look back on the latest action from J2 & J3.
To review last weekend's slate of J2 fixtures, Jon was joined by Sean Carroll. The boys discussed the complication relegation picture in the second tier (focusing in particular on a crazy game between Sagamihara and Mito), and the (seemingly much more straightforward) promotion race.
As usual, 'Magic' Mike Innes is on hand for all of the latest J3 news (including a stonking 9-goal thriller) in 'J-Talk: Short Corner'.
Enjoy the show!

Episode 387 - J1 Matchday 31
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
After another goal-filled weekend in the top flight, Sam and Ben reconvene to review all of the J1 Matchday 31 action.
We begin with the top two looking slightly off-colour, but still doing enough to win their respective games, before moving on to a bumper weekend in the #RelegationDogfight, which saw four of the bottom six win (Part 1 runs to 39:05).
Then we run through the rest of the games leaving the best, or at least highest-scoring games 'til last - though Urawa and Gamba Osaka supporters would probably argue with that designation!
