Stuart Woodward and Neil Debnam guest after Yokohama F.Marinos and Kawasaki battled it out in the Kanagawa Derby at the Nissan Stadium on Saturday night - the Kaoru Mitoma-inspired leaders ultimately running out fairly comfortable winners in a great advertisement for the J.League (and ponchos).

We go large on the derby (to 44:25), but the occasion merited it, then in Part 2 Sam and Ben work their way down the table reviewing the other eight games from the matchday.

Just in time for YET ANOTHER round of J2 games, Stuart Smith looks back on a midweek where Chong Tese sparked Niigata, Tokushima lost, Omiya won, Kitakyushu drew, and JEF United......well, JEF United + additional time = not good news

After beginning with a look back at last Wednesday's games hosted by the ACL clubs, we move on to Saturday's action, which saw two of them facing off, and there was late drama at the Noevir Stadium as hosts Kobe snatched a point at the death against Yokohama F.Marinos, while Part 1 also covers FC Tokyo's combative win away at Gamba Osaka, leaders Kawasaki well and truly getting back to winning ways, and Cerezo Osaka's win on Sunday at Yokohama FC (to 40:47).

 

Part 2 begins with Kashima breaking Kashiwa hearts with a late flurry and Urawa also coming from behind to win at home against Oita - apologies Reds fans, in a slip of the tongue I called Leonardo Leandro, my excuse is I was worried about mispronouncing Trinita goalkeeper Mun Kyung Gun's name in the same sentence - and finishes with the two draws and a look ahead to the fixtures in the coming week.

J3 takes centre stage in the first period of JTET this week - and Jon Steele & Stuart Smith have plenty to say about Japanese football's third tier, including:
